ELDER CARE
Elder care and family mediation is designed to help families adjust to major life transitions. In a safe, confidential environment, family members can discuss topics like caregiving responsibilities, selling family properties and residence decisions. These types of discussions are often fraught with painful and difficult decisions. With a mediator, family members can get help working through challenging topics as they figure out the best way to meet the family's overall needs. A neutral facilitator helps to navigate the topics so that disputes are resolved.

PEER MEDIATION
Peer mediation services involve youths helping youths to solve problems, communicate effectively and resolve disputes. This type of program involves two peers meeting in a confidential, private setting to talk about different issues. A trained student mediator guides the conversation and helps find solutions to the dispute. As a result of peer mediation, students are less likely to be suspended, start fights or become expelled. More importantly, peer mediation empowers students to develop communication strategies for resolving disputes on their own.
TELE-MEDIATION SERVICES
Especially because of Montana's rural nature, the use of remote mediation has been an effective tool for serving the rural communities of Montana. If you have decided against resolving issues because of distance, there is a technology-based solution that will allow for conflict resolution without travel. Remote mediation uses a free application downloaded to any device. While the best results work with consistent internet, it does also work with data service.
